Saline Heart Group announces integration of its Prognocis Electronic Medical Record with Saline Memorial Hospital Medical Record System.

As part of its ongoing committment to be a leader in medical informatics in Central Arkansas, Saline Heart Group in conjunction with informatics experts at Saline Memorial Hospital and Bizmatics (provider of Prognocis - an electronic patient medical record), have successfully integrated their EMR into the hospitals data management system.
This allows dictations from the Prognocis EMR to be simultaneously sent to hospital computers (for review and placement into the hospital medical record), and the Prognocis data base at Saline Heart Group. Coding and billing of procedures is automated and instantaneous - information is forwarded to the SHG - Medevolve Practice Management System.
Records, billing and insurance information is never lost and secure via computer linkages. Dr. Allan Hatch, a partner in Saline Heart Group noted "this represents a first in Central Arkansas and will perhaps serve as a template for other practices around the country....we are only beginning to harness the immense potential of computers... to enhance todays modern medical practice".
