The idea of moving to Electronic Medical Records should not be scary. Change requires careful planning and execution of that plan. Once you’ve selected the EMR you like, you’re only 20% done. The importance of carefully planning and allocating sufficient resources to the implementation process is the most important thing you can do. In our experience we’ve never come across an office that regretted their decision to move to EMR, though all said the process of going paperless was very challenging.
